Neuropsychological Consultants is a private practice of three providers serving the greater southeastern Wisconsin area, including Kenosha, Racine, Milwaukee, and Walworth counties, as well as Lake County, IL. We specialize in the assessment of cognitive impairments due to medical, neurological, or psychiatric conditions. Both of our neuropsychologists are board-certified, and we currently see adults 18+. Dr. Teresa Deer and Dr. June Restrepo assess adults for cognitive difficulties, such as: • Memory difficulties, such as Alzheimer's and Dementia • ADHD • Learning Disabilities • Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) • Neurological illnesses with a cognitive component (e.g., Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, seizure disorders, and epilepsy) • Vascular injuries (e.g., stroke) • IME's (Independent Medical Examinations) • Guardianship • Civil and Criminal evaluations We also have a psychotherapist on staff, Dr. Verna Christy, who specializes in counseling adults for a broad range of behavioral, emotional, cognitive, and medical disorders. She utilizes an interpersonal approach with cognitive-behavioral techniques (CBT), relaxation work, and health behavior coaching as determined by the needs of each client.
