About New Beginnings Family Services
New Beginnings Family Services has been serving children and families in the bluegrass for 15 years. We are proud to offer two branches of service to the community: *Behavioral Health Therapeutic Services - providing in-office and community based therapeutic services to children and their families. *Foster Care and Adoption Services – providing therapeutic services to foster children, as well as training and certifying therapeutic foster homes. Through the services of New Beginnings, families can acquire the training and assistance to enrich the life of a child, and children can receive the support they need. New Beginnings does not discriminate in accepting children or foster care families into its program based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin or disability. OUR MISSION New Beginnings Family Services’ mission is an ongoing effort towards “empowering individuals and families to assist them with developing enriched lives and a stronger community”. HISTORY New Beginnings Family Services was founded in 2000 in Louisville, KY by Terry & Bridgette Jones and James & Brenda Graham as a private agency. Together, their mission was to enrich the life of children and families by providing therapeutic services throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Today, New Beginnings is not only continuing to meet the challenges of training and supporting foster care families, but is expanding its horizons and reaching out to the needs of the community by offering child and family therapy to those seeking support and guidance. New Beginnings has an advisory board of directors who embrace its mission and believe the special care devoted to families can make a difference in the life of a child. The advisory board is composed of community representatives from a variety of backgrounds including health care workers, clergy, homemakers, and business owners. We are proud to be making a difference in the lives of Kentucky's children and families.
