About New Bridge Alternative Education
New Bridge Alternative Education provides quality alternative provision for secondary school children who thrive best in a small, nurturing environment where e ach lesson is personalised to meet each learner's needs. Here at New Bridge, we embrace the different and unique personalities that our students have and use relational approaches and a restorative approach to build positive relationships with our students. Our curriculum re-engages students through our accredited therapeutic art programme which is delivered alongside Maths and English up to GCSE; a personal development programme and a range of off-site physical activities. Any student on roll at a mainstream school can attend New Bridge Alternative Education for up to three days per week or those without a school place can attend as part of a personalised education plan. Bespoke programmes can be delivered for individuals or groups at our base in Walsall Town or onsite at the referring home school. We are experienced and specialist in working with young people with social, emotional and mental health challenges; special educational needs; those in the care of the local authority or those newly arrived to the UK.
