The main activities of NBDA are in three distinct elements: 1. Training and workshops in the field of innovation management. NBDA is affiliated with the originally American, but globally active organization PDMA (Product Development and Management Association). This organization has developed a certified innovation management training, of which NBDA has the licence. NBDA has actively market this training in Europe (in business) and India (where last year a 500+ students have been trained). The program is now also marketed in Turkey, China and South Africa. The training programs consist of the standard NPDP (New Product Development Professional) modules as well as tailor-made modules for companies and organizations. Actual business cases are often used in the training modules. 2. Consultancy in the field of innovation and design (especially from Singapore). In the Netherlands, NBDA often uses the Masterclass Associates Method, which aims at a structured way, using experts (Masters) in innovative solutions. Three key issues: content, collaboration and leadership. 3. Internationalization: NBDA assists these organizations in their voyage to Asia, make contacts and connections, if necessary, make the appropriate business plans and where possible provides the lead up to subsidies. Active in Southeast Asia, with Singapore as a starting point but also with anchor points in Hong Kong / China as well as India.These activities will be extended towards South Africa. 4. SIB advisor, helping Dutch SME's finding new markets abroad. Sponsored by the Dutch government.
