About New Chords on the Block
New Chords on the Block is THE a cappella group for you! From top 40 hits to R&B, New Chords performs many styles of music across the country. Whether it's competing, performing for the community, or traveling to other universities, New Chords knows how to have fun while making music and keeping their audience entertained. With members of various different majors, New Chords is a group of fun-loving students with a passion for making music. New Chords on the Block was named ICCA Midwest Quarterfinal Runner-up in 2020, Champion in 2022--advancing to Semifinals in St. Louis, Missouri--and third place in the Midwest Quarterfinal 2023.
