NO PERFECT PEOPLE ALLOWED At New City, we believe you shouldn’t have to work up the courage to go to church. We are not a group where you have to measure up to some imaginary standard. We know we don’t have anything to prove, and we won’t ask you to either. We are all equally in need of Jesus. That’s why we say, “No perfect people allowed.” WHAT DO WE BELIEVE? We feel confident that our righteousness isn’t built upon being better than anyone else. We don’t want to be the best church in Albuquerque. We want to be the best church for Albuquerque. Learn more about what we believe here and our core messages here. WHAT MIGHT I EXPERIENCE ON A SUNDAY MORNING? During our Sunday morning gatherings, our desire is to create a cozy feeling similar to a your favorite coffee shop, pub or friend’s living room. So please feel free to just be you. We will not single you out or embarrass you. You are free to wear whatever you feel comfortable wearing. New City’s Sunday morning gatherings are casual and relaxed. Donuts and coffee are available too! Our services last about one hour and ten minutes and consist of contemporary worship music, a sermon, and communion. WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS? If you have children, they are welcome to attend service with you, but we do have special environments for infants-5th grade. Kids’ City is a safe, engaging environment designed to point children to Jesus in a language they understand—the language of fun! All of our children’s volunteers are background screened and trained to work with children. WHAT ABOUT MY MIDDLE SCHOOL OR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT? We have a vibrant and fun student ministry. Our middle school students meet during the 11:00am gathering on Sundays. Our high school students meet at 5:30pm on Sunday nights. We get our middle school and high school students together for an event called The Collective each month. The Collective is a really fun night shared with churches from around the city.
