New City Scales have been trading for thirty years offering their expertise to customers direct as well as many trade partners. Our weighbridge fabrication personnel in Sheffield have over 60 years of fabricating experience and produce an extremely strong, high quality product. This is born out by the fact that having produced and installed over 2,500 weighbridge's, not one complaint has ever been received regarding the fabrication of our weighbridge decks. Manufacturing flexibility enables weighbridge's to be made in any length, width, depth or strength. This is particularly useful when a pit weighbridge is in need of replacement as a new weighbridge will simply be manufactured to fit the existing pit. New City Scales have been ISO registered since the conception of the standard. We currently hold ISO 9001:2008 quality management accreditations along with self-verification for many different weighing heads. We are audited by The National Measures office. All New City Scales Staff hold ECITB passport to safety along with mpqc Quarry passports, CSCS cards, Confined space trained and hold competent operator CPCS cards for slinger and signal work. The company is registered to the Alcumus safe contractor scheme along with Avetta SSIP membership. We also maintain training in asbestos awareness with regular safety reviews on all.
