About New College Berkeley
New College Berkeley (NCB) was founded a non-profit Center for Advanced Christian Studies. Building on its rich, ecumenical history, NCB seeks to connect the body of Christ across culture, tradition and generation to foster Christ-centered, communal reflection and discernment that is both contemplative and theologically-informed. Community programs offer opportunities to learn and engage with theology, spiritual formation, and creative arts. NCB continues to be an affiliate “center of distinction” of the Graduate Theological Union and a member of the Consortium of Christian Study Centers.
