We Help Shape the Energy Transformation Our Mission Statement: New Energy Colorado works to engage CitiSuns in shaping our energy future. We provide education about how our energy system and utilities function today, and what changes are needed to pave the way for a future of energy efficiency, renewables, and a smart grid. For 26 years we have sponsored the Metro Denver Green Homes Tour to showcase sustainable homes and inspire people to make changes in their own lives. We are building a community of Solar CitiSuns with a monthly newsletter to encourage understanding and action of key energy challenges, We have a close working relationship with the Colorado Solar and Storage Association (COSSA), the Colorado Renewable Energy Society (CRES) and numerous other organizations.
