NECHEAR is a unique rehabilitation facility established in 1999 with the mission to meet the needs of infants, children, and adults with hearing loss and their families using a team approach. Through aggressive auditory management, adults and children learn to maximize auditory access with the help of rehabilitative device programming. In this family-friendly environment, auditory-verbal techniques are used to facilitate the acquisition of spoken language, with the goal of full integration into communities.
