With immense joy and enthusiasm, we present to you, New England School of Music (NESOM) based in the Boston area. Indian Classical music is our passion and life-pulse; its myriad rhythms, melodies, moods ignite timbre our inspiration. Drawing on the incredible repertoire of this musical heritage and with a deep commitment to nurturing its future, we have established NESOM to be one of the harbingers of Indian Classical music in the United States. Allow us to share with you our visions and goals: Music Training: NESOM seeks to offer high-caliber music training at various levels. International Platform for Musicians: We will invite artists in residence and extend them the opportunity to perform and offer classes. NESOM will organize and support concert tours, “stand-alone” performances, classes, lectures, seminars and exhibits in the United States. Solidarity with Cancer Patients: One of our very special missions is to offer a caring touch to those fighting cancer. We are committed to fund-raising, promoting research on the role of music in health and healing and to offer support to cancer patients who may need assistance or are unable to pay for necessary treatments and care - regardless of age, gender or nationality. NESOM invites you to accompany us in this momentous journey towards nurturing the tradition and future of Indian Classical music and musicians.
