Joe Isaacs founded and has served as the president of New Heights Management Consulting Group, LLC since 2009. In this capacity, he has provided interim CEO services, special project support and facilitated strategic planning and implementation; reorganization support; governance and staff team development; volunteer recruitment and retention; government relations/advocacy strategy; organizational/departmental audits; member needs assessments and program evaluations. Joe's knowledge, experience, insights and skills were acquired over a successful 30-year career as a management consultant, lobbyist and chief or senior executive officer at trade groups, professional societies and consumer advocacy organizations. These include the: American Hospital Association (AHA); American Occupational Therapy Association; Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses; Association of American Medical Colleges; and National Health Council. At the AHA, he led an award-winning program on hospital mergers and acquisitions and community asset retention. Recent consulting clients have included: the Biomedical Engineering Society, National Blood Clot Alliance, American Liver Foundation, American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, American College of Nurse Midwives and Drum Corps International. Joe is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and Fellow of the American Society of Association Executives (FASAE). He has served on several nonprofit boards of directors and special project panels. He has served on the board of Center for Association Leadership and published articles on strategic planning, effective governance, member satisfaction, fundraising and staff team development. Chicago’s Association Forum recognized Joe in 2000 with its Management Excellence Award. Other honors include Washington DC Volunteer Activist of the Year, Outstanding Young Marylander and the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments’ Regional Leadership Award.
