We serve vibrant adults from their mid-50s through their 90s, creating a community where experience, curiosity, and purpose come together. Many of our participants also give back as program volunteers, helping to shape a culture of leadership, service, and engagement. What sets New Horizons apart is our entrepreneurial spirit and innovative program model. From evidence-based health and wellness classes to technology tutoring, cultural programs, and daily meals, our offerings are designed to nurture mind, body, and spirit. With a creative, solution-oriented team and a deeply committed group of volunteers, we’ve built a dynamic environment where people can thrive at every stage of life. Our Mission We empower adults in later life to live independently, stay connected, and embrace lifelong growth. Through innovative programs, personalized services, and meaningful community connections, we address pressing needs such as loneliness, food insecurity, and physical and emotional wellbeing — while also providing joy, enrichment, and opportunities for engagement. New Horizons is accessible to all. No one is ever turned away due to financial reasons. Programs and meals are offered free of charge or at a nominal cost.
