Our Vision: A home and community where people learn and experience life together. Our Mission: To provide a safe home to, and enrich the lives of, individuals with developmental disabilities in a unique sensory and natural environment. We own 14 properties across north-east York Region that span over 200 acres of land. Our main site is a 112-acre working farm that includes a woodshop, recreation and expressive arts centre, greenhouses and a cafe/industrial kitchen. Individuals supported enjoy the benefits of rural living while being supported in their efforts to be recognized as valuable members of their community. Respecting that each person is unique and deserves to recognize their own potential, New Leaf cultivates community partnerships to enhance the lives of the individuals supported, their family members and the community around us. Together, we grow and adapt to the challenges we face in our changing world.
