New Sky Pictures is a TV/Film Production Company in Austin, TX started by award winning filmmaker Mike Akel and MBA, Felipe Adams. New Sky Pictures has helped produce multiple projects which include Independent Spirit Award Nominee, CHALK, New Orleans Film Festival winner, AN ORDINARY FAMILY and the comedy series, MR. GINGER. New Sky Pictures created and currently produces the global YouTube sensation, New Sky Kids and Star Light Kids. At New Sky Kids, makes extraordinary videos that encourage kids to rise up in a world full of challenge, to become co-adventurers and life-conquerors together with those around them. We fight hard to keep truth, honor and integrity at the forefront of everything we do. We stand up for the under-dog, fight bad guys and own what we could do better... making the world a better place one story at a time. You know, hero stuff. With over 300 videos produced, almost 2 Million subscribers in over 200 locations across the globe, and a cast of over 40 kid-actors, our original content stand-outs in the digital space for children. We work hard to keep our content SAFE and over-the-top FUN for kids. Recently, our team was chosen by YouTube to be THE first ever mentor for other influencers in North America; a privilege are wild about. We hope to build-up, educate and collaborate with others all the while having a greater reach beyond just our own videos.
