About New South Wales Rugby Referees Association
The NSW Rugby Referees Association is the peak body for rugby union match officials in the greater Sydney region. NSWRRA services all senior competitions within the greater Sydney region, as well as various junior competitions. Each week during the season we provide match officials to over 150 Premier, Suburban and school matches. We have a proud history of our members representing the association on both the international and provincial stages. A list of our members who have had the honour of officiating internationally is available on our website. Aiming to be a leader in the establishment of development programs for referee coaching and match officials, we strive to provide well-trained match officials for the betterment of rugby at all levels of the game. Our role is to support and promote the game of rugby and increase participation particularly for those involved as match officials. We endeavour to create community interest in what being a match official is all about. Being a match official is enjoyable and rewarding. All are welcome to join our team.
