The New York City Department of Investigation (DOI) is the City's Inspector General, with independent oversight of City government, including each mayoral agency, City vendors, and an array of boards and commissions. We are one of the oldest law enforcement agencies in the country and an international leader in the effort to combat corruption in public institutions.
