About Neway Works

Neway Works is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering student athletes by providing them with the essential tools and guidance needed to discover their purpose. Our youth development and life skills program, Project Transformation, is designed to nurture their potential, instill confidence, and equip them with the skills required to thrive in life. Together, we are shaping a brighter future for these teens, fostering personal growth, and building a stronger community. Project Transformation goals include: • Passing grades for core subjects for all students in the program (English, Math, Science). • All students in Project Transformation to graduate from high school and receive their high school diploma. • All students who are failing, to improve their grades through academic tutoring. • Goal for each student to have a 3.0 GPA. • Students to develop skills to succeed in school and life by practicing the “growth mindset” versus a “fixed mindset.” • Assist students in learning how to construct their life’s blueprint through a step-by-step process of creating, planning, and executing the life they were destined to live. • Get students career and college ready with our Career Navigation Lab (S.M.A.R.T. Goals, visualize your future, career prep, preparing for college, passion career). • Fuel entrepreneurship by teaching students that they have gifts and talents to create and innovate through our Entrepreneur Lab (business plan, steps to start a business, marketing research, concept development, IP). • Teach Financial Literacy and economic sustainability, educating them about using and understanding credit cards, interest rates, credit scores, banking, budgeting, and investments.
