About Newborn Mothers
Newborn Mothers is changing our cultural understanding of postpartum care and influencing systemic change. We aim to train ten thousand Postpartum Education and Care Professionals, changing the lives of our students, the families we support and the systems we all share. Postpartum Education and Care Professional training is one of the most comprehensive course for professionals on postpartum care in the world. The training provides world-leading and evidence-based postnatal education to professionals. It teaches people how to provide practical, emotional and informational support to new families. Postpartum Education and Care Professionals provide companionship and emotional support, as well as information based on scientific evidence and referrals to other professionals when necessary. This non-medical role integrates cultural care, mental health, sleep and breastfeeding support. The training is led by Julia Jones from Newborn Mothers, it is the culmination of 15 years in the industry where she hashas trained over 1500+ students in 60+ countries. The training is developed in collaboration with three other educators each with decades of experience in their focus area of postpartum support. Newborn Mothers also offers a Postpartum Professional Membership for graduates and the Newborn Mothers Mastermind for the next leaders of the postpartum renaissance!
