About NewCare Devon
We are an independent company providing Domiciliary and Community based Care Services across Mid, South and East Devon since 2000. In that time, we have grown to become one of the larger providers of care in the county. We have offices in Exeter, Crediton and in Newton Abbot and supported living accommodation in Exeter. Our philosophy is simple; to provide an individually tailored, personal service that will enable you to live safely and independently in your own home for as long as possible. Our services include personal care, housework and shopping, and comprehensive 24 hour a day care programmes. We work with Devon County Council and the Devon Primary Care Trust and we have established a reputation for providing professional, high quality and specialist care services to vulnerable adults of all ages. We are accredited by and have worked closely with the local councils and currently manage many thousands of hours of care a year. We have strong relationships with many care professionals within our region, ranging from District Nurses, Occupational Therapists to GP’s, Social Workers, and Hospital Discharge Teams. We are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). All carers receive ongoing personal development through our managers and trainer and staff are targeted to achieve the Diploma in Health & Social Care level 2 qualification, which is the industry recognised qualification for care professionals. Senior staff are targeted to achieve level 3.
