About Newcastle University Chemical Engineering Society (NUChES)
NUChES (Newcastle Chemical Engineering Society) is the social group for chemical engineering students, lecturers, staff and friends at the University of Newcastle. The club holds regular events, including BBQs, the annual NUChES Formal, Trivia Night and the famous Scavenger-Hunt. Our society aims to create a community for chemical engineering students and academics at the university to engage with each other through social events offer a platform for the engineering industry to interact with students and provide a social platform for students to spend time outside of studying. Membership runs for the entire calendar year and lasts until December 31st of each year, if you wish to join the society, come along to our first BBQ or contact this page directly.
