Newdock is a logistics management and investment platform focused on developing and managing state-of-the-art logistics spaces in Spain, France, and Italy. The company is owned by Goldman Sachs Asset Management. At present, Newdock boasts a portfolio featuring nine exceptional grade A projects, each at distinct stages of development within prime logistics zones across Spain. These projects comprise around 615,000 square meters of leasable space, equivalent to approximately 1.0 million square meters of land. The total investment for these developments surpasses €600 million. As of December 2023, Newdock has five projects under operation in Madrid, Illescas (Toledo), and Cártama (Málaga) representing 177,000 square meters. Notably, two new additional projects are currently undergoing construction in Illescas and Valencia will add 250.000 square meters to the portfolio. These are projected to be finalized by the end of 2024 and early 2025, respectively. Furthermore, Newdock possesses an exclusive reserve spanning an additional 180,000 square meters, designated for future project development in major Spanish logistics hubs. These projects will be undertaken via both 'turnkey' and 'at risk' methodologies. Aligned with Goldman Sachs' global commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, Newdock strongly emphasizes incorporating these criteria into critical aspects such as construction sustainability, community engagement, and employment generation.
