About NewEco World

NewEco World was launched in response to the paucity of genuine, eco-friendly alternatives to single-use plastics. Although new bioplastics have been developed, there still remains much confusion over terminology. Consumers are being gaslighted with terms such as ‘compostable’ or ‘recyclable’. But, in reality, some bioplastics are causing even greater environmental damage than traditional plastics. Our goals at NewEco World are very simple. To reduce consumer confusion and to provide products that are truly eco-friendly. Our products can go into recycling or landfill and can also be disposed of with food waste. Wherever they end their life, our straws, bags and sip-lids will degrade into their component elements of water, hydrogen and nitrogen, without causing any environmental damage. This happens in weeks. Not centuries. But, as well as being Green, we understand that businesses need to be profitable. So our products are not only truly environmentally-friendly, but are also commercially competitive. And we’ve only just begun. Watch this space, our range will grow!
