Independent, family run sports retailer located in north east England. Specialising in cricket, field hockey and rugby. Supplying sports equipment, protection and team wear to individuals, clubs, universities and schools throughout the UK. Owners Peter and Amanda Kettle are passionate about sport. Peter grew up in South Africa until he settled in the UK in the late 1990s, and subsequently began coaching cricket when their children starting playing for the local club. Now an ECB Level 2 qualified coach, Peter has coached several club and school teams, plus coached at County level in Buckinghamshire. Amanda was born and bred in the north east of England, having grown up County Durham and then studying in Teesside. After meeting Peter and starting a family, she became more involved with the family's cricketing life through support coaching, managing, scoring, umpiring and playing. After living in southern England for 10 years, the Kettles returned to the north east and discovered there weren't many outlets to purchase good quality cricket equipment. An inspirational moment in January 2020 led to the start of the journey into sports retail and they've not looked back.
