About Newport Vineyards

Founded by John & Paul Nunes in 1995, Newport Vineyards is the largest grower of grapes in New England. The winery produces over 30,000 cases of estate-grown wine each year through sustainable farming methods on nearly 100-acres of historically preserved farmland. In 2015 Newport Vineyards completed a multi-million dollar renovation and 30,000-square foot expansion; including Brix Restaurant, Taproot Brewing Company (opened 2018), the Marketplace at Newport Vineyards, a new fermentation tank room and barrel room, and an event venue. The vineyard today boasts a fully farm-to-table and 100% scratch cooking program amongst their two restaurants and full in-house catering department. The events team produces over 150 private events a year from weddings, to corporate functions, private tours and tastings, luncheons, and more. Tour, taste and dine in our winery, Taproot Brewery and Brix Restaurant.
