Founded by a team of engineers and economists, Next Grid has over 80 energy certificate accounts including major university, hospital and Fortune 500 clients. Next Grid is dedicated to working with customers to determine what distributed generation option is best for them and to help optimize distributed assets from both an economic and environmental perspective. The Next Grid team is based in Kendall Square, at the Cambridge Innovation Center, and is focused almost entirely on helping to optimize New England-based distributed generation assets. Next Grid is active in the renewable energy credit (REC), solar renewable energy credit (SREC) and Alternative Energy Credits (AEC) markets. It is expected this experience will extend to the newly forming MA Clean Peak Energy Standard (CPS) market. For all our clients, we include ongoing optimization, market intelligence and reporting.
