About next Machinery Group

We at next Machinery Group are the exclusive distributor and reseller of Coatema Coating Machinery for North America. Coatema is the leading German manufacturer of “Lab2Fab” coating equipment and operates the best equipped R&D Center worldwide with over 12 Coating lines and a team of over 10 researchers supporting new technology developments. We have been on the forefront of renewable energy development for over 20 years and have been supporting start-ups, research institutions, universities, as well as R&D efforts of large corporations in the renewable energy field. Most of our partners have invented new technologies at universities and research institutions and are in the process of scaling up. Many of them reach a point when they need equipment and technical engineering that will allow them to move from idea and concept to lab and pilot. This is where next Machinery Group and Coatema come in. We support our partners throughout their innovation and development process, by providing engineering and consulting services, offering our R&D center for trials, and developments of customized R&D equipment for lab applications. As our customers grow from lab to pilot to production scale, we support them by providing available or developing customized coating, printing, and laminating technology that is required to upscale their production. We also enable our partners to increase the speed of their development process, for example by providing slot die simulations, where we can simulate how a certain slurry will behave when coated on a particular substrate type. This can save many development steps and therefore time to market.
