At Next, we help young adults ages 16-24 in SW Washington get set for success by providing the holistic support and training they need to create the future they want—all in one place. We focus on supporting young adults in Clark, Cowlitz, and Wahkiakum counties by providing them with resources for completing their high school diploma or GED, obtaining the skills and experience necessary to help them land a job in in-demand career sectors, and by helping eliminate barriers that may impact their journey to achieving success. Next is a community-wide initiative developed by and comprised of numerous entities working together. With Workforce Southwest Washington at the helm and more than 15 community partners and businesses supporting its success, the future is limitless. Young adults want to succeed in their careers and their lives. That’s why Next offers a place where they can take charge, walk up to opportunity’s door—and kick it wide open.
