NEXUS / ASTRAIA GmbH provides a software solution in obstetrics and gynaecology for structured documentation and reporting, for quality assurance as well as for scientific studies. The company was founded in 2000 and it is based in Munich, Germany. A dedicated team of about 35 employees serves more than 1,700 customers in over 75 countries. In many countries, astraia is also represented by local sales partners. NEXUS / ASTRAIA GmbH cooperates closely with leading experts around the world, such as with the FMF, London, with whom astraia has a longstanding and successful coorperation. This collaboration is complemented by in-house expertise and the ability to adapt with flexibility to the market. The company offers up-to-date high-end solutions incorporating the latest validated scientific data. Thus, it has established its position as market leader and pioneer in obstetric and gynaecological documentation applications. The central product is 'astraia software for women's health', a modular database application specifically for obstetricians and gynaecologists. It has been translated into more than 19 languages and is available in several regional specifications. The application aims to safeguard and streamline the daily work flow by focusing on the medical information and by substantially reducing the time and cost spent on daily administrative processes such as correspondence and archiving. The software is highly flexible and can be adapted to a customer's individual needs and country specific regulations. The data input screens can be customized to accommodate specific requirements. The versatile interfaces allow for seamless integration with ultrasound devices, laboratory systems, PACS archives, and hospital information systems.
