About Ngungwulah Aboriginal Corporation

Our primary objective is to advance Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people's culture within the Australian wellness community and beyond to Heal Country and all of us living on Country. Through respectful introduction of conversation, learning opportunities and communications we assist in integrating First Nations' ways of being, doing and knowing. In fostering respect for Country and strengthening relationships between First Nations' communities and health and wellness practitioners, we offer a framework of reciprocal healing. We work within the Reconciliation Action Plan framework to deepen understanding and bring about progressive change. Ngungwulah Aboriginal Corporation aims to : *Amplify the voice of our First Nations wellness and health practitioners throughout the country by providing support to the Yaan Circle *Create working opportunities for First Nations peoples within the health and wellness sector *Expand the number of wellness businesses appropriately Acknowledging Country *Support and encourage Cultural Awareness trainings within the wellness community and as a component within wellness and health trainings *Facilitate bursary positions within wellness industry trainings and classes for First Nations people *Provide cultural consultancy to the wellness community and health bodies across Australia including guidance for Reconciliation Action Plans undertaken by industry bodies *Support a nationwide series of interactive events between wellness and health communities and Traditional Custodians - Healing on Country *Provide cultural consultancy to the wellness community and yoga bodies across Australia including guidance for Yoga Australia Reconciliation Action Plan to ensure it comes to full realisation *Support a monthly newsletter focused on reconciliation, reciprocity and respect between First Nations and wellness and health communities
