About NH4Ukraine.org
NH4Ukraine travels to Ukraine, where we use donor funds to purchase and personally deliver wholesale humanitarian aid (food, hygiene products, etc.) DIRECTLY to where it's needed. Since we pay our own ways and use a van donated for our use, we have almost no overhead, meaning your donation goes to exactly what it's intended to do - HELPING VULNERABLE VICTIMS OF THIS UNJUST WAR. Most of the towns and villages we deliver to are near where the fighting is going on, in areas formerly occupied by Russian forces. To date, we've made 5 trips to Ukraine and have spent over 5 months on the ground PERSONALLY DELIVERING aid. We buy bulk goods IN UKRAINE, then deliver it to refugee centers and distribution points in the eastern part of the country. The strong US dollar enables us to buy cost-effectively, and purchasing in Ukraine provide some stimulation for their beleaguered economy. This is the most efficient way of DIRECT GIVING; since we pay our way there and back and are an all-volunteer organization, your donation will go directly toward buying and delivering desperately-needed food and other necessities to these innocent victims of an unjust war. For this trip, we're partnering with United-Ukraine.org; they're a 501(c)(3) registered non-profit, which will make the accounting simpler for us, and will enable any donations to be tax-deductible as allowed by law.
