In 1997, Niagara Support Services (NSS) forged a strategic alliance with Niagara Training & Employment Centre (NTEC). Our joint mission aimed at delivering high-quality, cost-effective supports, expanding offerings for the Niagara community. Both agencies maintain distinct identities while fostering deeper integration through shared resources, including board members and administrative functions. Revisited in 2008, the alliance embraced principles promoting uniqueness, idea sharing, and effective resource utilization. This successful collaboration, reflecting shared service philosophies, has allowed NSS and NTEC to maintain and even expand service levels, showcasing the power of leveraging strengths in pursuit of operational excellence.
