Nicola Penman MSSc CMIOSH is well known in health and safety circles for her dedication and passion for keeping people physically and mentally safe at work and she works tirelessly to promote health and wellbeing to employers, managers and employees in public and private sector workplaces. Nicola Penman is an IOSH Chartered Health and Safety Practitioner who is passionate about health and safety at work. She has worked in health and safety training for over fifteen years and as well as achieving her NEBOSH National General Certificate and NEBOSH Fire and Risk Management Certificate in 2008, Nicola graduated from Queens University in Belfast with an MSSc in Occupational Safety and Health with Commendation in 2013. Nicola’s top priority concerning health and safety at work is helping to raise awareness of the ever increasing prevalence of mental ill health in the workplace. She believes that going to work should have a positive effect on mental health rather than negative. And that we all need to work together to achieve this.
