My name is Nicola York and I have nearly thirty years recruitment experience in the Swindon and Wiltshire area, having previously managed the Finance & Accounting operations of three multinational corporate agencies. Since graduating from university in the early 1990s my primary focus has been recruiting for finance roles. I have an extensive candidate network - my aim is to provide you with access to the whole of the market including passive candidates and active candidates looking for a new position. I have recruited finance professionals for a wide range of clients including blue chip, international, public sector, charities and SMEs, and I can respond quickly to fill urgent roles. Over the last three decades I have dedicated some 254,800 hours to candidate attraction strategies and I have over 11,000 LinkedIn connections! My aim is to provide you with a shortlist of candidates that you would not have been able to generate by placing your own advert on job boards. Crucially, I am now at a point in my career where I don’t want my sole focus to be placement revenue and commission. I want to focus on people and use all my knowledge to provide a bespoke service with a little more “Nic”! I don’t need to fill a job to keep my job as I run my own business – so no hard sales pitch from me!
