About Niila Games

Niila creates innovative mobile games. We have four years of experience with working in hypercasual games, creating quick and colorful experiences. We also have a strong connection to art and culture, complemented with a strong narrative and a unique visual style. Our latest project, Stilstand, is an award-winning interactive story about a young woman in Copenhagen who falls apart due to anxiety, loneliness and hopelessness. The player joins the Girl in her experiences with dating, partying and her everyday life. The project is based on the hand drawn comics and personal writings from danish graphic novel artist, Ida Hartmann. The game won "Best Emergent Experience" at the Danish national game awards, Spilprisen 2021. Our current project is a cross-media sci-fi kids universe, created in collaboration with NIMBUS FILM, to be concluded in 2022.
