In 1980, we started manufacturing plastic furniture which helped establish our foothold for our business venture in the industry. It then turned into the legacy of two first generation entrepreneurs, Mr. Vamanrai Parekh (Chairman & Co-founder of Nilkamal Ltd.) and Mr. Sharad Parekh (Managing Director & Co-founder of Nilkamal Ltd.). Our business has diversified into various product lines in which it is familiar with and has perfected it. Nilkamal Limited is listed on the National Stock Exchange and the Bombay Stock Exchange since 1991. Our turnover exceeds INR. 2093cr (The Plastics Division) as of FY 18/19. We have 9 manufacturing plants including Sri Lanka. Apart from its main furniture business, we have invested in Nilkamal Mattrezzz, Moulded furniture, Ready Furniture, @Home, Nilkamal Bubble Guard and Material Handling. Each business complements the other and our resourceful partners have helped boost us into a multinational company. Smart investments and expert management has kept us as the world’s largest producer of moulded plastic furniture and maintained its advantage over its competitors. Our company operates in various sophisticated markets in North America, Australia, Africa, South America and the GCC which all amount to over 30 countries. Apart from this, we have always excelled in its professionalism by having all its manufacturing units ISO certified at different levels such as BIFMA - Level 3 and Greenguard (UK). We have been around for more than three decades and strive to be successful in the many years to come.
