Nilsa H. Toledo. DMD, FAAPD is a board-certified Pediatric Dentist with a vast 26 years of experience in Cosmetic Dentistry, in the specialty of Pediatric and Adolescent Dental Medicine, and in Interceptive Orthodontics, Dento-facial Orthopedics and Prosthodontics services. Quoted frequently by television, radio and print media, Dr. Toledo is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Academy of Anti-Aging, and of the Ibero-American Academy of Functional Orthopedics. During her brilliant twenty-six years in the dental profession, she has held many academic and administrative positions including Professor and Chair of the Pediatric Dentistry Department at Nova Southeastern University, Director of the Pediatric Dentistry Post-doctoral Residency Program at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York, Chief of Dental Services at the San Jorge Children's Hospital in San Juan, PR, Professor and Chair of the UPR Dental Department. Throughout most of her career, Dr Toledo has concurrently managed her own prestigious private practice dedicated mostly to Cosmetic Dentistry, Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine, and is the creator of the Extreme Smile Make-Over for the Miss PR and Miss Universe Beauty Pageants. At present, Dr. Toledo is the Dental Director of the Wellington Institute for Wellness in South Florida, where Extreme Smile Make-Overs are created and state-of-the-art exceptional dental care provided along with a team of other dental specialists in the field of Cosmetic Dentistry.
