About Nine Lines Design

So why “Nine Lines”? The name is a nod to the multiple dimensions of connection my work is built upon—between design and function, people and place, vision and material, maker and market. There are nine metaphorical “lines” I follow daily: passion, resilience, craftsmanship, service, adaptability, innovation, collaboration, storytelling, and legacy. It’s also a subtle homage to the idea of “lines” on a page, map, or blueprint—each guiding a project toward something tangible and meaningful. And perhaps most literally, it represents the many product lines I proudly bring to the Florida market—beautifully crafted by U.S.-based manufacturers, many of them women-owned, sustainability-driven, and pushing boundaries in our industry. I started Nine Lines as a small business owner in a new state, representing new clients and forging new connections, 800 miles from where I grew up. It’s both humbling and energizing. I’m building this from the ground up, and every line in this story matters. Thanks for being part of the journey. More to come.
