About NIWA - Network of International Women in Austria

The Network of International Women in Austria (NIWA) is a non-governmental organization established in July 2021. Our organization was formed with the recognition of the vital importance of equipping migrant women with the necessary resources to lead fulfilling lives in Austria and foster a sense of belonging. We focus our efforts on job market integration, professional development, and financial independence. To achieve these objectives, we organize workshops and events designed to assist immigrant women in not only securing employment in Austria but also in building their self-confidence and improving their skills, exploring their passions, and establishing valuable connections with like-minded women. We don’t forget that having fun and playing are essential components of personal growth. Therefore, we also organize various social events such as hikes, picnics, pub quizzes, and yoga classes. These gatherings serve as opportunities for participants to forge new friendships, unwind, and have a good time. We believe that with an assistance network and the support of other women with the same experience, any obstacle can be overcome and every woman can have the freedom of enjoying their life in Austria.
