About No Surf House
No Surf House expands the variety of locally available live music, supports the arts, and builds community by furnishing modest-income touring musicians subsidized lodging, providing early-career local artists low-cost housing, and organizing unique performance opportunities. No Surf House believes in art for the artist's sake, and that working creatives deserve a sustainable living just like any other workers. We believe the best way to support art is to support artists. We believe in building a community for artists and integrating it into the local community so that each can support and enrich the other. We are a new organization, just beginning our search for a property in Northeast Ohio where we can provide lodging for musicians playing gigs in the region, as well as annually-renewable housing for select local artists.
