About Noakes Group
Noakes Group was established in 1979 as a rigging company and now owns and operates a well-known and respected marine maintenance and repair facility. Noakes caters for commercial and private vessels, from the lastest carbon fibre built racing yacht to wooden boats, from multihulls to powered vessels. The slipway at Noakes North Sydney is considered to be one of the best on Sydney Harbour and can lift vessels up to 35 metres (116ft) with a maximum beam of 9.2 metres (30ft) and a maximum displacement of 155 tonnes. Multihull vessels with a maximum beam of 11 metres (36ft) and up to 35 metres (116ft) in length can be accommodated. All Noakes' hardstands are fully compliant with EPA standards and the North Sydney yard is one of the largest and cleanest on Sydney Harbour. Clients can request work be carried out either by Noakes' own experienced and friendly staff, by their own sub-contractors, or clients have the third option of do-it-yourself.
