Nocomoto Ltd. offers a novel (patent pending) ultra-low carbon vehicle that bridges the gap between bicycles and cars. With only 5% of the emissions and cost per mile of a typical car, it's perfect for urban journeys. We're currently seeking SEIS investment of £166k – let's chat if you're interested! We’ve co-designed the vehicle over four cycles of co-design and testing - working with focus groups alongside experienced designers, marketeers and makers. Our goal is to encourage many more people to switch to sustainable urban transport. We recognised that many people are reluctant to ride traditional bicycles regularly. Our surveys showed that reluctant cyclists want a personal vehicle that is safe, comfortable and practical - they want all the gains of cycling without the pain. By listening to people’s real needs for urban transport we have created a truly radical alternative vehicle. With the right investment to finalise the vehicle for production, Nocomoto and our design and manufacturing collaborators will build on a significant grant from Innovate UK. We will then make and sell our range of vehicles to both households and businesses throughout the UK and Europe.
