About NodalSeismic
NodalSeismic, LLC engages in the seismic acquisition business as a contractor to major oil & gas companies, engineering / consulting firms, or government entities. NodalSeismic, LLC is a geophysical contractor that provides seismic data acquisition services for a variety of industries. The firm has facilities in Kansas, Texas, and California. Founded in 2010, NodalSeismic also specializes in urban seismic surveys. The Company's history includes successfully completing a 40 square mile high resolution 3D seismic survey in the densely populated Los Angeles Basin in California. This survey is the largest and most successful urban survey in California and has resulted in the drilling of multiple discovery wells. NodalSeismic captures data using the Smartsolo IGU-16 5HZ nodal recording system which provides superior information for the highest quality seismic data acquisition. Using this equipment, NodalSeismic has achieved notable increases in productivity, operational efficiency, and crew optimization. The Smartsolo units have the advantage of being lightweight, compact in size and can be quickly deployed. All of this has brought NodalSeismic clients, lower data acquisition costs, quicker projects, and minimal impact on landowners. The new Dighton, Kansas location serves as NodalSeismic’s main storage facility for all seismic trucks, nodes, and equipment. This central Midwest location benefits logistics and provides access to a quality workforce. We are committed to helping our customers get their projects done in a cost-effective manner. Our standard seismic source is a fleet of vibroseis trucks, the Hemi 60 Birdwagon from Industrial Vehicles International, IVI (http://indvehicles.com/9bw6.htm). We have also carried out seismic acquisition projects using a dynamite impulsive source, incl an 84 sq. mi. project in Texas during Oct. / Nov. 2010.
