About Noordje

Noordje is a cultural non-profit based in Amsterdam-Noord, focused on the creative, linguistic and personal development of children and young people. Through art, storytelling and multilingual expression, we help young people discover their voice, strengthen their confidence, and broaden their world. We work closely with artists, educators and schools to offer writing workshops, art programs, and after-school activities — both in and outside the classroom. Our participants often come from diverse, multilingual or migrant backgrounds, and we believe every child deserves the chance to grow through creativity. By putting imagination and language at the heart of our work, we contribute to equal opportunities and an inclusive society.
