About Nordic e-Infrastructure Collaboration (NeIC)

NeIC is a joint initiative between the Nordic countries and Estonia. Our goal is to be a role model for cross-border distributed and sustainable e-infrastructure collaborations not only in the Nordic region but globally. Our activities center on digital infrastructure for research excellence. They contribute to a more competitive Nordic Region on research domains such as high-energy physics, health, software development, digital humanities, climate and the environment, and authorisation & authentication infrastructure (AAI). We are hosted by CSC - IT Center for Science. Our Strategic Committee, which is the body that decides on activities to pursue and steers the collaboration, consists of representatives from each of the national e-infrastructure provider organisations. These strategic partner organisations are DeiC (DK), ETAIS (EE), CSC (FI), RHNet (IS), Sigma2 (NO) and SNIC (Sweden).
