Nordic Maritime Services AS (NMS) is a continuation of Olaf Pedersens Rederi (OPR) established in 1936. In 1993, the Sunny fleet was sold and OPR was taken over by Mr. Torstein Dehn, who continued on with the establishment of Nordic Maritime Services (NMS) in 1998. Today, Nordic Maritime Services AS (NMS) is an international company with its Head Office in Oslo and permanent offices in Singapore, the UAE and the Philippines. Our main services: Project Management: The NMS Projects Departments main activity is Project Management of Newbuilding projects. We are involved in the construction of different types of ships, ranging from offshore vessels to more conventional cargo ships. Our main focus is Chemical and Gas Carriers, however as our track record shows we have experience with a wide variety of ship-types. Ship Management: With 12 years of experience in ship management NMS provides ship management services for customers operating a fleet of modern chemical carriers and general cargo ships in Middle and Far East, Caribbean and Europe. Crew Management: Our employees, regardless of rank, and their families, will be treated with utmost respect and support at all times. Selection and training of personnel will be the core elements of our strategy and will set us apart from the competition Our services are efficient, honest and suited to our customer’s requirement.
