About Norfab MFG (1993)

History Originally started as an architectural metals fabricator and installer, Norfab quickly gained a reputation for its attention to detail and performance while working in difficult scenarios. It then expanded into the miscellaneous metals supply and installation market. By 2002 the business required a larger facility and the company moved into its present location. Today with over 80 employees, Norfab produces structural, miscellaneous, and ornamental steel with the same attention to detail it started with in 1987. Safety From concept to reality being safe and conscious of the environment is what we strive for each day at Norfab. Our team has over 20 years of knowledge in the structural, miscellaneous and architectural metal trade. Whether it is fabrication or installation, large scale projects or small we take pride in being an industry leader for safety in our field. With the development of Norfab’s Safety Management System we are increasing understanding and helping to assure uniformity throughout our organization. It is essential that employees not only understand but actively support and apply the safety policies and procedures; this will ensure that our company can achieve productivity and performance objectives in a safe work environment. Our vision is zero incidents on the jobsite; through a strong Safety Management System we know this vision is achievable. Working safe and playing safe is the key to everyone’s future. Facility Located in northwest Edmonton between Yellowhead Trail and Anthony Henday Drive, our 27,000 square foot facility situated on three acres has excellent access to local and out of town work. The facility is equipped with seven overhead cranes, CNC beamline, CNC HD plasma table, water-jet table, ironworker, pressbrake, and shear equipment. The facility also hosts three horizontal and one vertical band saw which satisfies most cutting requirements.
