About Norfolk Collegiate
Norfolk Collegiate is an independent, coeducational day school enrolling students in Pre-Kindergarten 3 through Grade 12. Through a traditional college preparatory program, teachers fuse student-engaged instruction with innovative techniques to foster in each student a continuing desire to learn, to understand and to serve society responsibly. Within a caring community, students are challenged to build on their strengths and to develop attitudes and habits that bring success in college and throughout their lives. Norfolk Collegiate is a nonprofit that is governed by a Board of Trustees, which includes parents, alumni and community leaders. Norfolk Collegiate is accredited by the Virginia Association of Independent Schools (VAIS) and by AdvancED-SACS. We are a member of the Military Child Education Coalition and a Virginia Purple Star Designated school. Norfolk Collegiate welcomes academically qualified students of diverse backgrounds who wish to participate in a close-knit school community defined by academic excellence and honor.
