About Norfolk Teacher Training Centre
Initial Teacher Training provider based at City College Norwich in Norwich, Norfolk. Primary and secondary school-based training. School Direct and Postgraduate Apprentice (PGTA) routes. We offer all national curriculum subjects at secondary: art and design, biology, business studies, chemistry, classics, computer science, drama, design technology, English, geography, history, mathematics, MFL, music, PE, physics, RE and social sciences. At primary phase we offer EYFS/KS1 and KS1/2, as well as primary with mathematics. We work in partnership with schools across Norfolk and Suffolk, as well as parts of Cambridgeshire. Trainees spend four days in school and have one day a week in college studying a research-underpinned course developing their pedagogical content knowledge and teaching skills through reading, discussion, practice, reflection in face-to-face cohorts.
