NORGÄTE was founded from an unconditional passion of the world’s finest materials, high-end quality, transparency and a stronger focus on social and environmental sustainability. We contribute to our mother earth and make a difference to reduce production impact by manufacturing small quantities of each product and only making more if it is demanded in pre-order. To make strategic design choices we need to think on the three ‘R’s’ – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Norgäte Zero-waste fashion design, only use the yarns or fabrics that are needed, eliminating pre-consumer textile waste and focusing on the creation of new garments, using the leftover yarns and the small pieces of clot. Single Sourcing = Low Carbon Footprint By managing all stages of our supply chain, we have total control of our productions, keeping our chain of value as short as possible. We ensure traceability, ethical practices and reduce our carbon footprint. To contribute to reducing our carbon footprint and be a competitive high-end brand with affordable prices, we established a European distribution center, based in Zagreb, Croatia. This helps us to have fewer air shipments a year. Your garments are shipped to NORGÄTE EU and then straight to you, reducing the number of flights involved in the production process and overall carbon footprint from transport.
